Stargazing with The Gregg School Science Club
Our Science Club took 'learning beyond the classroom' all the way into Space!
Our students enjoyed an evening at Clanfield Observatory, where a break in the clouds gave them the opportunity to see the stunning planet Jupiter, several of its moons, and the intricate craters on our own crescent Moon. They were also treated to an excellent presentation, complete with demonstrations of different reflector and refractor telescopes, followed by a lively and lengthy Q&A session — absolutely marvellous!
Thank you to the Hampshire Astronomical Group for inspiring our budding astronomers. I wonder where their next Science Club adventure will take them?
